Mr. Bykhovsky started Applied Financial Technology in early 1996 and is currently President and CEO. Prior to starting his own company, he worked at Fisher, Francis, Trees & Watts as Director of Portfolio Technology and developed a complete fixed-income analytical system for the company. He joined FFTW after two years at Hyperion Capital Management where he was a Vice President in charge of Quantitative Research. There he headed a team that developed a wide range of analytical systems that focused on mortgages and mortgage derivatives and the risks imbedded in them as well as other interest rate sensitive instruments.

Before moving to Hyperion Capital Management, Mr. Bykhovsky headed a risk control group at ABN-AMRO, and prior to that he was a Vice President in the Mortgage Research Group at Prudential Securities.

Michael holds a B.S. in Physics from Columbia University and a M.S. in Physics from the University of California at Los Angeles. He then pursued his Ph.D. in Physics at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland and at Columbia University.

 

 

Kyle Lundstedt is the Managing Director of FIS Applied Analytics. He joined the firm in December 2007 to help manage the evolving business, and leverage the ability to combine FIS loan data, property information, and proprietary analytics in a host of valuable new ways. He coordinates the business development, sales, client service, and research efforts, as well as leads the integration of Applied Analytics with its new parent company, Fidelity National Information Services (FIS).

Kyle worked for Andrew Davidson & Co. (ADCo) as the Director of Credit Modeling, and led the development of the LoanDynamics™ Model. He continued a strong track record of designing, developing, and validating behavioral models for the nation’s largest financial institutions. A member of the ADCo management team, he also applied his mortgage modeling expertise in product development and consulting roles.

Prior to joining ADCo, Kyle was Managing Director and co-founder of VaRisk, a firm that builds customized valuation and risk management tools for financial institutions such as Wells Fargo and Silicon Valley Bank. He also was Vice President of Analytics for LoanPerformance, responsible for developing and managing the firm’s predictive models and databases.

Between his undergraduate and graduate work, he was a Professional Staff Member for the Banking Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives. He was involved in the S&L bailout and FHA reform legislation, and played an important role in the creation of OFHEO, the regulator for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

He received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Yale University, and earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration from U.C. Berkeley. He has spoken at a wide range of industry events, and his published work has appeared in a large number of industry publications, academic journals, and books.

 

 

Dr. Gan joined Applied Financial Technology in 1996 as Director of Research and Development. He currently manages the development and support of all Applied Financial Technology software and systems.

Prior to joining Applied Financial, he worked as a Researcher at the University of California at Berkeley, was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada and an Instructor at Southeast University in Nanjing, China.

Junwu holds a B.S. in Physics from the University of Bucharest and a Ph.D. in Physics from Rutgers University. Dr. Gan has been published many times and has recently submitted a paper on his Super Option Model to the Journal of Finance. This model provides the ability to select a model dynamically depending on market conditions, express the early exercise premium for American options, efficiently compute the above, derive universal boundaries for a one-factor model, and for American Put Stock Options, calculate the option price and the maximum allowed strike price in an efficient manner (equal to the CRR Binomial Tree, typically 100,000 time steps).

 

 

Dr. Zhao joined Applied Financial Technology as an Analyst in 2004. Prior to joining AFT, Dr. Zhao was a postdoctoral fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology and a Teaching and Research Assistant at Rutgers University.

Dr. Zhao received his PhD from Rutgers University.

 

 

Dr. Weiner joined Applied Financial Technology in April of 2005. Previously Jon was a post-doctoral researcher in astrophysics at the Space Sciences Laboratory (University of California, Berkeley).

Jonathon earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in physics at the University of California, Berkeley and a B. S. in mathematics/physics from Michigan State University.

 

 

Mr. Williams, Executive Vice President, Business Development, joined Applied Financial Technology in 2003. Prior to AFT, Kevin worked for the BancWare business unit of SunGard Trading and Risk Systems and served as Vice President of Sales. He previously worked for Thomson Financial Software Solutions and for various SunGard business units.  In his positions at SunGard and Thomson, Kevin held a variety of roles including: Vice President of Operations and Director of Development, Sales, Product Management and Client Services.

Kevin also worked at Darling & Associates in Andover, MA as a Senior Programmer/Analyst and Tenfold Corporation in Salt Lake City, Utah as Vice President of Sales.

Kevin received a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of New Hampshire.

 

 
 

Mr. Dosaj joined Applied Financial Technology in 2000 as Director of Client Support. He currently manages the support of AFT clients and prospects and provides oversight for product management.

Prior to joining Applied Financial Technology, Raj worked as a senior client support consultant at Capital Management Sciences, Inc. for eight years.

Raj holds a B.A. in Applied Mathematics from the University of California at San Diego and an MBA in Finance from the University of California at Los Angeles.

 

 

Mrs. Overson joined Applied Financial Technology as Director of Marketing in 2004. Prior to AFT Mrs. Overson was Senior Marketing Manager at Mellon HR and Investor Solutions. She also served as Senior Conference Manager at The Industry Standard, an internet economy magazine. Prior to that she held marketing and event management positions at IDG, The Medical Records Institute and IQPC. She began her career in a sales role at CIC Systems.

Liz has a B.A. degree in Sociology from the University of Rhode Island.

 

 

Mr. Shah joined Applied Financial Technology as Senior Consultant of Client Support in 2003. Prior to AFT Colin worked for Barra as a Consultant in the Research and Data Group in Berkeley, California. In his position at Barra, Colin lead in a variety of areas including: Product Management, Research, Client Support, and Project Management.

Colin received an MBA degree in Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

 

 

Mr. Begley joined Applied Financial Technology as a Sales Executive in 2006. Prior to AFT, Sean worked as a Business Analyst with the Hay Group.

Sean received a B.S. degree in Business Administration and International Affairs from the University of New Hampshire.

 

 

Mr. Shapiro joined Applied Financial Technology as a Sales Executive in 2007. Prior to AFT, Gregg was Director of Sales and Business Development at CMS BondEdge. Gregg also held Financial Analyst Positions at Goldman Sachs and Citigroup.

Gregg received a B.S.B.A degree in Finance with a dual major in French from Washington University in St. Louis.
